This is the third installment of our kitchen renovation. You can read part one here, and part two here , part four is here, and who knows how many more parts there will be in the future.
A little flat lay story board of the materials, colors and patterns I’m using in the kitchen. The Cabinet color is up on the top right. Today I wanted to share images of the kitchen as it looks right now. It’s not finished, you’ll notice we still need to address the ceiling and remove some lighting and patch it up.
Plus, there’s still the fact that the cabinets need to be painted. As a temporary fix we went ahead and painted the island a color match of the rest of the cabinets, but in the near future I’ll need to have a fresh coat on everything. I’m using this time to live with the current color and now that the counters are in, I can get a sense of what color I want. It will probably stay similar, but with less of a yellow undertone. But I reserve the right to change my mind.
Colander (holding soap and plants in sink) so far I keep it in there to hold stuff

Beverage fridge–we added this to replace the second dishwasher.
Green glasses from World Market, At Home, Athropologie and Amazon
Checkered Tea Towels: McGee and Co
In the plant is a plant watering stake, I used a wine bottle with it.
How we used the keeping room area.
