31 Days To A Less Messy Nest Day 17:: Messy Organization

I like my home to appear pretty, clean and organized.

But I don’t care enough to do this.

Right now my drawer o’wires suits me just fine.  I’m sure it would drive normal people nuts.

I stole the title from Productivity 501 here’s a quote from the post::

some types of “messes” are actually more efficient than rigid organization

-Mark Shead

Is there something that works fine for you that others would see as chaos?

Your Summer Reading…For the Next Three Years

this bundle is no longer available…

desk

this post contains affiliate links

I’m a reader of books. And ebooks and today there’s a super huge sale of a big bundle of 97 ebooks all sold together for one crazy low price. Over the past few years I purchased many of these separately and learned so much. These books have been so helpful for me from learning about simple blogging, being intentional about the clothes in my closet to decluttering and planning parties. Really, I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t want to have all these ebooks, plus, they don’t take up any room–you store them all on your computer.

But there’s a second reason I think you should buy them.

writing

You Should Write an Ebook

I dare say that every person reading this sentence has an expertise. You clearly have a computer. You should finally write that ebook.

This sale, is your research. Not to copy, no, you are too smart and unique for that. But there’s no better way to figure out what you do and don’t want to do for your ebook than by getting to check out 97 ebooks that have sold.

tassel ebook

Want My Ebook For Free?

A few years ago I wrote an ebook about how to make decorative tassels to hang on your furniture and such. If you purchase this eBook bundle, I’ll send you my ebook for free. It’s not fancy but it has a ton of photos and if you get it today, you’ll have time to make tassels for Mother’s Day. Directions to get your free Tassel Ebook are at the bottom of this post.

Here’s the nitty-gritty, more than you’ll ever want to know about the fantabulous ebook bundle available now 97 ebooks for just $29.97 (that’s about 30 cents each!):

UHeB-large-HomemakingBundle_revised

For 6 days only, more than 75 widely known bloggers and authors in the homemaking sphere have joined together to offer 97 of their most popular eBooks and eCourses, valued at just over $600, for the incredibly low price of $29.97!

More than anything, our goal for this sale was for it to be, well… ultimate! We firmly believe that you will not find a more comprehensive collection of homemaking resources anywhere on the web, and particularly not in this price range. For this low price, you gain access to every single one of these resources, so that you can customize your own collection to contain exactly the ones you want and know you’ll use.

This library of homemaking helps include topics such as mothering, organization and cleaning, recipes and kitchen helps, home education, spiritual growth for both moms and kids, home décor and DIY, pregnancy and baby care, frugal living, health and fitness, and even work-from-home and financial tools. I like the idea of these books so much, that I’m an affiliate.

To sweeten the pot, we’ve also teamed up with 10 companies to bring you over $140 in bonus offers, giving you an affordable opportunity to get products you’ll use and love for only the cost of shipping, or in some cases, entirely for free!

What’s Included in the Sale?

When you purchase The Ultimate Homemaking eBook collection, you will get instant access to all of the 97 eBooks and eCourses listed below.

PLUS over $140 of FREE Bonuses

The Ultimate Homemaking eBook collection comes with more than $140 of FREE Bonuses from 10 companies that we know you’ll love. More on these bonuses below.

Tanzania Bound

I’m getting ready for the trip.  Actually, I’m probably on a plane right now while you are reading this.  I leave my house in 2 hours then I’m on planes for about 20 hours.

I’m not ready and I know I never will be.

They really should make you take some type of standardized organization test before they allow you to go on one of these trips.  I’ve planned a wedding, been in charge of 13 moves and birthed 3 children and my skills have never been tested this much.  Let’s just say this, one of the things I’m packing in my carry on is a 5 pound bag of wires.

I want to thank you all for your tweets, texts, cards in the mail, emails, facebook messages, comments–it’s overwhelming in the absolute BEST way.  And my poor sister has started answering her phone when I call with “Tanzania Question Hotline, How May I Assist You?“.   I call  her 47 times a  day with questions because she did the Compassion trip to the Philipines last year so she tells me everything I need to know.

In honor of Compassion and encouraging each other DaySpring wanted to give you a gift.   Or at least 150 of you. The first 150 people who sign up here will receive a card pack so you can encourage your friends, or neighbors or hey, maybe you sponsor a compassion child and want to send them a card?   DaySpring gives a percentage of their sales of all these cards to Compassion.

This is the card pack that 150 of you will receive.  I’m going to try my best to catch it once the list hits the 150 limit and announce it here but, since I’m traveling, I can’t make any promises.  But DaySpring will contact you if you were in the first 150–and no worries about leaving your info with them, they won’t sell your address or anything.Go here to sign up for your free card pack. {The card giveaway is CLOSED now – DaySpring will contact you on Monday if you were one of the first 150}.

Follow all the Compassion Bloggers here.  I hope to have my first Tanzania post up as early as Sunday evening.  I’ll see you on the other side.  Of the world. Literally.
