Every year my husband and I get together with my sister and her husband and my parents and make goals. I usually have a few super easy goals that I include so I can be proud of myself when I accomplish them. This year, I wanted to buy a few more plants for our house.
I opted for succulents. I’ve had two species for a few years and they have lived through the abuse of moving, and neglect. The perfect plant for me. The indoor plant area of our local lowes depot had a special section for succulents and they were each less than $2.50. An easy and affordable way to bring a little life into the room.
When I came home I stuck them each in various white yard sale urns and containers that I had around the house and then put moss around the top to hide the ugly dirt.
I love how they look all grouped together and for less than $8 I had a classy table display and got to scratch off an item from my goal list.
