Happy Thanksgiving. Do you say “thanksGIVING” with the emphasis on the “Giving” or “THANKSgiving” with the emphasis on the “Thanks”? I say it the first way but my husband says it the second. I assume it’s a southern thing. He also says “JUly” with the emphasis on the “JU” it’s cute – when I’m in a good mood otherwise it annoys me. Maybe it means something deeper, like I want to give and he likes thanks. Hmmm. Doubt it.
