House Rules Book releases April 23

Love The Home You’re With

I know what it’s like to want a pretty house but not know where to start.

If you’re like me, you want your home to serve your family, be super cozy and represent your unique style–not so that it can be featured in a magazine, but so you can fully use and enjoy it.

When it comes to home, perfection is never the goal.

What would it look like to start embracing the imperfect when it comes to your home?

I believe it will change everything.

Once you let go of perfection, you are ready to make some actual changes in your home.

If you are tired of purchasing cute things and still feeling frustrated with how your home looks, I get it. I’ve been there, it’s the worst.

My first goal is to help you give yourself some grace when it comes to creating a home you can fall back in love with.

And my second goal is to give you lots of guidance when it comes to making actual decisions about what to buy, what to put where, and why in the world that lamp, those drapes or that paint color just don’t seem right. Decorating is fun, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy.

It’s time to choose your own home adventure.

First, every week or so I’d love to email you tips + tricks about everything home. You’ll also get the furniture + decor buying guide slipped into your inbox. I’d love for you to sign up and join our community of 43,000 imperfectionists who subscribe to these applicable, pretty and fun emails.

If you are feeling especially frustrated with your home and secretly wishing you could start over in a new place, I wrote a book just for you.

If you are ready for some design help when it comes to furniture placement, hanging drapes, rug buying, lighting, walls and wall art, styling and vignetting you will love my next book Cozy Minimalist Home :: More Style Less Stuff, that releases October of 2018.

Not only do we believe that it doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful, we also approach decorating like a Cozy Minimalists who get the most amount of style with the least amount of stuff. Amen.

We believe that home exists to serve people, not the other way around.

We believe it is a sacred calling to be watchful about what comes into our home and purposeful about what goes out.

We believe unique style always trumps trends, and that an uncomplicated home is a blessing to everyone who enters it.

We believe that empty spaces are just as important, beautiful, and useful as filled spaces.

We believe home is an ever-shifting combination of graceful, cozy, abundance, simplicity, form, and function.

We believe that it doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.

We believe that it doesn’t have to be cluttered to be cozy.

We believe that it doesn’t have to be modern to be minimal.

We believe we truly can have more style with less stuff.
