DSC_1970I thought I’d do a fun project oh, about 3 months ago. I had a few bread boards and a pizza peel. One had a little leather strap on it so I drilled a hole in the other two and threaded some leather through the hole.

Super easy right?

I am my own worst enemy.

We have this niche in our kitchen, long story, but it backs up to the stairs to our basement so it’s just an awkward wall where my husband made a box out of MDF so we could put some shelves in or something.

I’ve painted the inside black part twice, but then I have to keep painting the outer white part too. It only needs ONE LAST 10 minute coat of paint. And I give it a dirty look every time I’m in my kitchen.

I wish this was a post about me telling you that I finally painted it. But I haven’t. And I don’t think I will today. Maybe I will next week? There are 101 one things on my to do list and sadly, this isn’t one of them. And I need to figure out which can of black paint I used and where in the world is my little paint brush?

So for now, the cute little boards with their leather straps act as arrows.

Remember arrows? Sometimes I use them because of a circumstance I can’t control. Sometimes I use them, like today, to help make better a self inflicted wound.
