all this cute loot is or will be available on ebay

Are you ever out shopping and find all sorts of lovely items that you don’t really need but you really love and they are a great price and it makes you sad that no one wanted this darling thing because it is at a thrift shop or a yard sale or at a retail shop and you know it would look great inside your home but you don’t “need” it but for some reason you still want it?

Yeah, me too.  I’ve confessed that I buy with my heart. And if you are like me and have a great stash of wonderful things to shop the house from, you probably don’t need to read any further.

However, if you are one of those people who leaves comments lamenting your lack of things to shop your house from…

I thought I’d experiment with something.   My mom and I love to hang out together and go thrifting/yard saling, and shopping in general.  I’ve also got a dresser full of tchotchkes.  We listed a few things on ebay last week and lots of beautiful items found new homes and it was fun and we didn’t lose money.  So, we are doing it again.  And we’ll keep doing it until you loose too much interest or until we loose too much money.  Whichever comes first.

I simply don’t have time to list things on ebay and ship stuff out, but my mom does, and for some crazy reason she actually likes that part.  So, she’s listing everything under her ebay name Wide White Shutters.  So even though she only has one sale, trust me, if she runs off with your ceramic bunny never to return again, I feel confident I can hunt her down. She really enjoys her grandchildren, I can’t imagine her moving to Mexico even though this stuff is really beautiful.

Because we like action and suspense, our plan is to start everything at 99 cents with no reserve.  Living on the edge.

I’ll try to remember to announce it here when new stuff is listed but, you’ll also be able to click on this shopping cart that is up on the right hand corner of Nesting Place to get a link to whatever is listed on ebay.  Our hope is to list stuff every few days.
